Please join SDMB April 12-14, 2024 on Mt Graham for a weekend of MTB Riding, Hiking, Trail Work and Camping. We will be camped at the Round the Mountain Campground. Our focus will be working on Lower Ladybug Trail improving corners. Work will be from about 9am to 2pm on Saturday and Sunday. After work we will spend time enjoying the trails and the mountain!

Round the Mountain Campground (5000ft) does not have water, but pit toilets are nearby at Noon Creek Picnic Area. Bring 5 gallons of water, per person, for the weekend. At the base, the Mt Graham General Store has gas, ice, prepared foods and most of the basics if you forget something. They close at 8pm. It's only 10 minutes from camp even if you forget something after you arrive. A Mt Graham trail crew favorite is to pick up burrito and heat it up in the microwave before arriving. That way you don't have to make dinner the first night. Don't forget to ask for salsa! SDMB will provide some cold drinks and snacks for the event. As we get closer we may try to coordinate a Saturday evening meal.

Tools will be provided. Head and eye protection is required; bring a hard hat or bike helmet if you have one.

Volunteers need to bring:

Camping gear and food for the weekend. We eat lunch on trail.

Appropriate clothing for temps ranging from the 70's to the 30's (mountain weather).

Work gloves, head protection, eye protection.

Trail shoes or hiking boots, a pack, and bladder/bottles that can carry min. 3 liters of water.
