It's baaaaaaackkkkkk!!!!!!  It's that time of year again, with cooler temperatures returning and the riding season picking back up, it's time to get our trails back into shape after the monsoon rains! Vegetation grows quickly with all of the rain from the summer monsoon, and maintaining proper trail corridors is essential to providing a fun and safe recreation experience.

How to participate:

  1. Watch SDMB's informative video (here) and read the Arizona Trail Association's PDF guide (Trail-Brushing-Guide.pdf) on how to property brush trails in the Sonoran Desert.
  2. Sign the 2019 Brushtober-Fest form (Brushtober-form-2019.pdf) and return via email to Include which trails you want to brush, or simply show up to one of the organized brushing rides below.
  3. Get tools from SDMB, brush trails, document your work with photos.
