Please join SDMB Nov 10-12, 2023 on Mt Graham for a weekend of Bike Riding, Hiking, Trail Work and Camping. Our trail work focus will be on Lower Ladybug.  As the nights will be cool in November, we will move down to Round the Mountain Campground at 5000ft

Round the Mountain Campground does not have water, but pit toilets are nearby at Noon Creek Picnic Area. Bring 5 gallons of water, per person, for the weekend. At the base, the Mt Graham General Store has gas, ice, prepared foods and most of the basics if you forget something. They close at 8pm. It's only 10 minutes from camp even if you forget something after you arrive. A Mt Graham trail crew favorite is to pick up burrito and heat it up in the microwave before arriving. That way you don't have to make dinner the first night. Don't forget to ask for salsa!

Tools will be provided. Head and eye protection is required; bring a hard hat or bike helmet if you have one.

Volunteers need to bring:

Camping gear and food for the weekend. We eat lunch on trail.

Appropriate clothing for temps ranging from high 80's to low 40's (mountain weather).

Work gloves, head protection, eye protection.

Trail shoes or hiking boots, a pack, and bladder/bottles that can carry min. 3 liters of water.
