Please join SDMB and Our MTB Rides Sept 8-10, 2023 at Upper Arcadia Group Campground (6700ft) for a weekend of Bike Riding, Trail Work Hiking and Camping. Our focus will be working on Arcadia Trail brushing, opening up corners and re-benching tread. Plans are in the works to have shuttles running for Arcadia or if you want to go big try the Graham Cracker Route which is 17 miles and 6300ft of descending

Upper Arcadia Group Campground has water and pit toilets. Trailers/RV's up to 21ft are noted on the USFS website. However, the mtn road is paved with numerous sharp corners. We may have trailers park in the overflow lot across the street to make room for tenting in the main parking area of the group camp. At the base, Mt Graham General Store has gas, ice and most of the basics if you forget something. They close at 8pm.

Tools will be provided. Head and eye protection is required; bring a hard hat or bike helmet if you have one.

Volunteers need to bring:

Camping gear and food for the weekend

Appropriate clothing for temps ranging from high 80's to low 40's (mountain weather).

Work gloves, head protection, eye protection.

Trail shoes or hiking boots, a pack, and bladder/bottles that can carry min. 3 liters of water.
