Members Appreciation Campout

Registration

  • The SDMB Members Campout is free to members and their guests.
    $10 donation is suggested for non-members.
  • Ilych from Foot2Pedal will be hosting a skills class to work on your fundamentals of riding techniques. He will be working bike and body positions and going over obstacles. This will be a free class and only open to the first 8 active SDMB members who sign up here. You must have all the essentials for riding on the mountain. Helmets and a bike in good working order are a must.
    The class will start at 9:30am Saturday morning Sept 14th. Meet at the Whitetail campgrounds site 5 by 9:15.
  • We are having a fundraiser dinner Saturday. The dinner will include up to 2 bratwurst, a side and a beer or bottle of water.
    price is $5 for active members and $10 for everyone else.
  • Camping is free for Active Members and their guest in their party. A $10 donation is suggested for non-members.
    Sign up for membership (sdmb.org) prior to or at the event to camp for free and take advantage of the other members benefits.

  • There are only 10 parking spots available at the campsite. Buying this VIP Parking Pass will be the only way you will be able to park at the campsite. All others will need to park outside the entrance to the campground.

    The VIP Parking Pass will include up to two of the Fundraiser dinner tickets.
    we are working on a few prizes to add to the VIP package. We will announce more when we have them all gathered together.

    VIP Parking Passes are only available to active SDMB members.

    There will not be any refunds on this purchase.

Free camping to members and guest in their party. 

We have site #5 at Whitetail campgrounds. It holds up to 90 people. 

Purchasing for the 10 VIP parking spots is now available. 

There is only room for 10 vehicles at the campsite. You must buy one of our VIP Parking spots to park at the campsite.  All others will be required to park outside the campgrounds. There will be space to park to unload your gear before you park outside the site. The parking situation is part of the fire code at the campground and will be STRICTLY ENFORCED.

VIP Parking Passes are now for sale. $40 gets you a parking spot at the campsite and up to 2 dinner tickets for our fundraiser BBQ Saturday night.  

The Saturday night fundraiser BBQ will be $5 for active members and $10 for non-members. It will include up to 2 bratwurst, a side and a beer or bottle of water. Dinner will start at 5pm. 

Group ride will meet in the parking lot of site 5 starting at 9am Saturday.  We will bike up to Secret trailhead and ride Secret, 1918 and Sunset trails. It will be an intermediate to advance level ride. Tucson Endurance Performance Center/ Guru Suspension will provide a shuttle back to camp if you don't want to bike back to camp.

We are working on a skills class for Saturday morning.  It will be limited to members only. More details coming soon. 

**Reminder: There are only 10 parking spaces available at the campsite. All others will need to drop their stuff off and park outside the campgrounds.
