Please join SDMB May 17-19th at Upper Arcadia Group Campground (6700ft) for a weekend of Bike Riding, Trail Work, Hiking and Camping. Our work zone is still TBD but likely zones are Veach Ridge on Ladybug Trail or Upper Shake Trail. We may send riders with tools through on Ladybug and have a hike in crew on Shake. Volunteers need to be ready for the saftey meeting each day at 8:45am.

Registration here on Event Brite is required to manage camping capacity and tools.

Upper Arcadia Group Campground has water and pit toilets. Trailers/RV's up to 21ft are noted on the USFS website. However, the mtn road is paved with numerous sharp corners. We may have trailers park in the overflow lot across the street to make room for tenting in the main parking area of the group camp. At the base, Mt Graham General Store has gas, ice and most of the basics if you forget something. They close at 9pm.

Tools will be provided. Head and eye protection is required; bring a hard hat or bike helmet if you have one.

Volunteers need to bring:

Camping gear and food for the weekend

Appropriate clothing for temps ranging from the 80's to low 40's (mountain weather).

Work gloves, head protection, eye protection.

Trail shoes or hiking boots, a pack, and bladder/bottles that can carry min. 3 liters of water.
