Are you new to mountain biking? Have you only ridden a few times and want to gain more confidence out on the Tucson single-track trails? Or, are you a mountain biker wanting to improve your skills? Join SDMB & two professionally certified coaches (Jody Bartz and PNut) on December 03, 2023, for our Level 3 FUNdamental MTB Skills Clinic! We'll be at Sweetwater Preserve Trailhead teaching mountain bike handling skills and riding trails. You can expect to learn:

• cornering
• riding downhill/uphill
• riding over rocky terrain
• better balance
• control
• trail etiquette
• confidence
• Sound good? Come join us!

Clinic begins at 1pm until 4pm.

• Riding Gloves 
• Tube/Sealant/Tire repair
• Proper shoes/attire 
• Hydration (Water, electrolytes)

Need a bike or want to try a better bike than your old beater? If you need a bike, we can provide a loaner bike, but you need to let us know ahead of time.

The three beginner level clinics in the Fall are geared to build skills for the next level clinic.

Level 1 occurred 10/28 at Fantasy Island

Level 2 occurred 11/05/23 at Fantasy Island

Level 3 will be at Sweetwater Preserve, December 03, 2023, 1-4pm.

COST: $20 SDMB member; $60 Non member ($40 goes to a one year SDMB membership, so your next classes will be just $20). Again, thanks to the Harris Foundation.

These clinics are made possible by a generous support grant from the Harris Foundation so you can get top notch certified coaches for a fraction of the cost. Each 3 hour class will have no more than 10 riders and 2 coaches so there will be lots of 1-1 coaching time!
